Zomedica

Mr. Donato joined Zomedica (NYSE-ZOM) in March 2023.  Mr. Donato has over 30 years of experience including over 20 years of both public and private executive leadership roles primarily in the human life sciences space.  Most recently prior to joining ZOM, Mr. Donato was an executive vice president of Cincinnati based Standard Bariatrics, a start-up surgical device company specializing in bariatric surgery.  While there, the company successfully exited in late 2022 with a sale to Teleflex (TFX) in a deal valued at up to $300M.  Mr. Donato served in similar capacity at Philadelphia based Neuronetics (STIM) a leader in transcranial magnetic stimulation for depression where he co-led the Company’s successful IPO in 2018.  Mr. Donato executive experience includes Assurex Health, Bovie medical (now APYX), Cyberonics (now LIVA), and Iris International (formerly IRIS). 

Mr. Donato graduated magna cum laude from the Fisher College of Business at THE Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Akron.
